I haven't made much progress lately on this, but here is another preview. As the tittle says its work in progress so go easy on me. :D Next month I'm getting anew PC so I'll work much more on this.

Some notes about the icons:

I have a new style for glyph based icons that can be seen on the sms one, i also tried this on the catch notes one, but i don't really like it.

The camera icon is unfinished: it feels empty and needs some cool lens reflection effect (I suck at making those so if you have some cool tutorials/resources I'm listening)

I hope that it will. Maybe the new design of ICS will bring more designers on board who will help make the platform even better. I really wish that there would be more nice looking and polished apps and skins for the little robot.

hmmm jeah - sadly im not able to make icons - hmm i should try to - but i cant draw very well - do i need to be able to draw good? - is there a tutorial somewhere?

Draw? No you don't have to, I'm like the worst drawer in history :D I've got countless stories to back this up. It never hurts if you can e.g. Jackie Tran has some pretty nice drawings and he is a really great designer. If you have basic Photoshop knowledge (layer styles, shapes mostly) than you should be fine. As for tutorials, I have a few that I found really useful bookmarked somewhere I will note them to you when i managed to find them.

What I found most helpful was to look at templates for other icon sets to learn the effects, and the freebies at places like [link] for inspiration i mostly look at dribbble. Hope this was helpful, if you any questions feel free to just note me.
